" Post Up "
Roating Stage : Dark Roast
Note : Roasted Almonds, Dark Cacao, Brown Sugar
Blend Composition : Brazil Cerrado Libre Selection N, 2 Kinds of Guatemala W
"Post-up" is a simple yet highly effective basketball tactic that uses the strength of a bigger player to back down a defender near the basket and score.
By finishing the roast at the beginning of the second crack, we achieve a stable and lingering profile
where a solid, chocolate-like sweetness and pleasant bitterness form the core, gently balanced with a touch of acidity.
Q.
Why are there stones, twigs, or corn kernels inside the coffee beans?
Green coffee beans are an agricultural product and are exposed to outdoor environments during the drying process,
such as concrete patios or African-style raised beds. Even after drying, they go through multiple rounds of sorting and selection.
Occasionally, objects like stones, corn, or twigs may be mixed in during these stages of processing.
However, multiple rounds of sorting and destoning are carried out before the final packaging at origin to remove foreign materials.
At Hytte Roastery, we also perform a two-step inspection process—an initial visual check after roasting,
followed by a second round of destoning—to ensure quality and cleanliness.
Nevertheless, some foreign materials that are difficult to detect by weight or visual inspection may still remain.
In such cases, if any foreign material is found in the product, we offer exchanges or refunds.
Please contact us, and we will assist you promptly.
